Developing components using Joomla CCKs
Presentation of the lecture Developing components with no programming CCKs presented for Joomla Joomla Day 2010 in Brasilia Brazil taught by Leo Miranda.
We begin with the difficulties encountered in using the content management standard joomla sites (com_content), which is a CCK and the advantages of using Joomla CCKs.
Following on that comment all started with components of type directories, and then I list the six components CCKs Joomla divided into two groups, the first and second with no integration systems integration to joomla content using the table of com_content.
Three components make Joomla CCKs parts of the first group, they are the Resources, K2 and Zoo are evaluated on their main functions and make a final comment and indicate the target audience and types of applications. In the end I present a comparison with the 3 CCKs with 12 assignments.
In the group with CCKs integration are: Form2Content, FLEXIContent and jSeblod CCK. I present the particularities of each one, do comment and point target audience target audience and types of applications. In the end I present a comparison with the 3 CCKs with 12 assignments.
After presenting a comparative reviews and video tutorial using CCK Form2Content showing how to make a registration system for customers within minutes manageable via front-end. The result of this application can be viewed at the JetWorks.
And to close the presentation, demonstrate a case of a referral system for books using jSeblod CCK, use it several distinctive features of this tool as adding fields to users, user profile, generating lists, search engine and modules.
